Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Jacqueline S. Martin
General Dentist

Dr. Martin was born and raised in Washington, D.C. She joined our practice in June of 2020, with over 20 years of experience in dentistry. She attended Howard University and the University of Maryland Dental School. Her continuing education includes straight wire orthodontics, 6 Month Smiles, ClearCorrect, botox and fillers. She is extremely proficient in Orthodontics, including straight wire and invisible aligners. She’s also proficient in many treatments including root canals, crowns, bridges, fillers and therapeutic botox. Dr. Martin’s favorite thing about the dental office is getting to work with the best staff and patients!

When not at work, Dr. Martin enjoys dancing, going to the beach and hanging out with her family. She has had a motorcycle license for 10 years, but has been discouraged from riding by her husband and friends because of having young kids. Her youngest is now 16 years old and she says, “Once he graduates, momma is getting a bike!” Her favorite quote is by William Shakespeare: “To thine own self be true.”

Dr. Alexandra Biga

Dr. Biga was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Philosophy. She then moved to Baltimore to attend the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she graduated magna cum laude again. After dental school, Dr. Biga completed a General Practice Residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Cambridge Health Alliance in Massachusetts, focusing on community health and the oral-systemic connection. Dr. Biga has been with Clinton Dental Group since completing her residency in 2014. She is committed to expanding her knowledge through continuing education as part of a local chapter of the Spear Study Club.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Biga is a certified personal trainer (CPT) and has a passion for nutrition, fitness, and total wellness.

Dr. Kristen Millender

Dr. Kristen “Kris” Millender grew up as one of seven children. She grew up partly on Long Island and later in Virginia, where she graduated from Courtland High School in Fredericksburg. After having her first child, she attended and studied Chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and moved to Miami to complete her master’s in biomedical sciences. Her graduate studies provided Dr. Millender with a deep understanding of physiology and how all the systems of the body are connected. This experience helped frame her holistic approach to dental care. After finishing graduate school, she was accepted by her top choice dental school, and her family left Miami for Maryland. She completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry, in 2019.

Dr. Millender’s personal core values are wisdom, spirituality, honesty, trust, love, gratitude, and continued education, and she naturally infuses all of these elements in her interactions with others. She provides the best treatment to patients by taking a holistic approach to comprehensive care and prevention, while utilizing the most up-to-date technology to help with diagnosing and treatment planning. Most patients appreciate her thorough and gentle approach to their dental care, especially those who may deal with dental anxiety.

Like most “mompreneurs,” Dr. Millender stays active in many personal and professional endeavors, including leadership, coaching, and leading teams on community-based projects. She currently serves as the Chair of the Leadership Committee of the Maryland State Dental Association and was recently awarded the New Dentist Leadership Award and the President’s Honors Award at the 2022 Chesapeake Dental Conference.

Outside the dental office, she spends lots of time centering herself spiritually, studying, running after her three kids, and spending quality time with her husband who helps make all her wildest dreams come true.
